magazines: jane do(n)e
Looking back, I consider myself incredibly lucky to be of magazine reading age during the eras of Sassy and later Jane magazines. Here were two magazines, a teen and a women’s magazine, respectively, that provided a slightly different perspective. These magazines both praised off-beat style, edge and a sense of humor above all else and had cult followings that few publications ever see.
